LA Art Book Fair

We had an amazing weekend at the LA Art Book Fair. It was held at the The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. The place was huge and filled with beautiful books, zines, and more! Issue one of Incandescent was one of the publications featured at Kickstarter’s table. We will be posting Issue Three in our online store in the next couple days. We have also added a list of stores that carry Incandescent here: incandescentzine.wordpress.com/locations.

Issue Three Preview

Pine Island Press and  Incandescent are thrilled to have entered our second year of production! We would like to thank everyone who submitted to Issue Three. This issue’s list of contributing photographers can be found here. PIP is working hard to finish the new issue by February first, when we head out to the LA Art Book Fair. If you are in LA please come say hi. We will be hanging around the Kickstarter booth with a new batch of zines! Here is a sneak peak of the new cover featuring an otherworldly winter landscape by photographer David Denny.

Issue Three Call

Incandescent is officially announcing a call for art for Issue Three. As always, we are looking for color only / film only work. Email us some examples of your work and a website if you have one. The last day to submit is December 31st. Issue Three will be released at the end of January. Please spread the word to all the film photographers you know. No submission fees!
